Members of the 149th Civil Engineer Squadron use a front-end loader to move construction supplies at the site of the Expeditionary Medical Support (EMEDS) building during their deployment to Yerevan, Armenia, in the first two weeks of August 2009. Forty-eight Texas National Guard Airmen deployed from San Antonio, Texas, to support security cooperation initiatives and humanitarian assistance projects. The EMEDS building will accommodate medical equipment, supplies, tents and personnel to provide modular, rapid response for humanitarian relief and wartime contingencies.(Texas Military Forces photo by Tech.
